A 13 year old, classic Speyside single malt whisky from Benrinnes Distillery was finished in a 1st Fill Amontillado Sherry. Only 390 bottles were taken from this outstanding cask. Released at cask strength, non-chill filtered and entirely natural in colour.
Tasting Notes
Nose
Spice, caramel and dried fruits offer an enticing introduction to this beautifully sherry finished single malt.
Palate
The expected meaty Benrinnes single malt is lifted by pepper, caramel, burnt orange and leather.
Finish
Oak aged dark chocolate with orange and some lively spices from the sherry. Delicious!
